So you know the wheels that just attach to the metal bars of cages? Would it be possible to make a stand for one? Or somehow attach it to a bin without cutting the plastic?

Well an easier option could be to got to your local pet shop as im possitive they will do the wheels with a stand. They are around 10.

10 seems a LOT for a wheel to me though, when I can get stand-less wheels for about 2. That's the only reason I'm asking.

None just yet, still looking around. For Olivia's bin cage, I have a wheel from her old metal cage; I cut a hole in the plastic to fit it in, but it was difficult and I'd rather not do it again. I don't mind doing it for the new hams, I'd just rather not.

I am also considering getting Flying Saucers (but they take up a lot of space) or Silent Spinners (but they're quite expensive)..

Silent Spinners are good, I wouldn't say they were too expensive at around 6. It's definately worth the money though! :D

For the size I want, they're about 10 each. I need two, and I just can't fathom spending that much on a wheel, it doesn't seem right. I do actually want Silent Spinners, but I want to wait a while to get them. I am going to have about 600 to waste soon, then I won't mind so much :)

P@H sell the stands for the savic rolly wheels, I think they're only a pound or two.

Just seen those :)
I think what I'll do is buy wheels meant for bar cages, then see if the Rolly stands will fit onto them. If not, I'll just have to cut the plastic (but better this time!).
