Ok I've a FOP cage, and it seems to be great, although I've wanted to expand slightly to put in a mini silent spinner, which I've just ordered, as the wheel that came with the cage is very noisy and I hate taking it out on the two boys at night. But FOP tubing seems quite hard to find, and sites that do stock it, don't seem to process orders etc?!?!?

The crittertrail tubing looks very similar and easier to source, but do any of you know if it will fit the existing FOP tubing or cage??

FOP is a UK type thing right? isn't CritterTrail US based?

I do know that silent spinners are wonderful for dwarfs. You should get two of them so the little dwarfs don't fight over it.

FOP are actually and italian based company, and dont sell directly to the public!!

THe wheel is the only thing they dont have a squeak over, they are usually both in it at the same time, its quite funny to watch!!

I really don't know FOP, so I cant really offer any help. Perhaps someone else has experience with these two brands and can post some insight soon. :D

I don't know that make either. Can you post any pics? We do have crittertrail in the UK as well. If you get silent spinners, be sure to either silicon seal or tape over the little gaps where the two colours of plastic fit together as I have read on other forums of two dwarf hammies whose feet have got jammed in this gap and been badly injured.

I got mine in Jollyes, so assumed it was a big name, and was very good for dwarves - big, plenty to do, and plastic except for the mesh at the very top for air etc

They look nice cages. Why not pop one in to the pet shop (or a bit with a joint on it) and see it the crittertrail will fit on it.

I saw a bag of FOP tubing in my local pet shop today, I compared it to the crittertrail and it does look the same. If its any use to you the pet shop was called Big H Pet superstore.

Don't know were you live so you might not have one near you.

I would sugest trying what souffle said and take a part of the tubing in to a pet store.

You could try and get them to send it mail order if the crittertrail does not fit.
