January can be a bit of a depressing month when all the excitement of New Year and Christmas is over, so for this competition I'm giving you the opportunity to cheer us all up by submitting...

A Hamster Photo with an Amusing Caption!

You are allowed up to four entries per user, and NO photo editing programs are allowed. The caption should be added in text underneath the photo. You will be allowed to enter until the end of January, and then the voting will go up! This will last for 20 days, and the the winners will be announced...

I hope to see a good lot of entries from you, so get your piccies in NOW!

First you need to find a hosting site for you photo. We use photobucket~ http://photobucket.com/ which is free and easy. Register then follow their instructions to upload you pictures from your computer. If you can resize the photo to about maximum width 500 pixels either on your computer or on photobucket it will fit better on the forum.
Next click on the photo URL and copy it.
Go on to this thread and click reply then type paste%20the%20URL%20in%20straight%20after%20that%2 0then%20type.
It should read photo%20URL
Go onto a new line and type your caption in then hit submit and it should be there :lol:

If you are really struggling send it to Snuggleham or Pophammy as an e mail attachment and she will do it for you

I agree, just because there seems to be some competition doesn't mean people should feel deterred from entering. Its about the participate and sharing cute and fun pictures of our hammies with each other. Any member of HC knows that we love to see pic's here! :wink:

No way! the anatomy of the hamster would not make sense if it was one of its leg. At least not to me lol. I think thats actually a third hamster back there, :)

There is a third hamster round there! It does look funny. :lol: The picture is Sonni, Pawaver and the leg belongs to Bubbles. The picture was taken when they were babies and I found it whilst looking for pictures for Christines genetics article. Paws and Sonni are still with us Intense and will be 1 soon.
