Hamster of the Month - December- VOTING NOW ADDED

It's a new month so we have to choose the 'Hamster of the Month' for next month. The winning hamster will appear on the front page of the forum so when someone comes on to the forum they will see the picture. :smile:

So it could be YOUR hamster who becomes famous. :grin:

1. This competition is for the December Hamster of the month.

2. You may enter 1 picture and this should be accompanied by a few lines telling us a little about you hamster and why it should be chosen.

3. The picture should be clear and as charming as possible

4. The picture must be of a hamster of any species and it must belong to you or your family. It may be with you now or have passed to the bridge.

5. Closing date for entries is Sunday 21st November.

6. The voting will be posted and the new pic will be displayed in December.

7. Please try and post a new photograph that you have not entered in a previous competition.

8. It may be themed if you wish and December has Christmas and Winter.

Please do not post any comments on this thread and only post entries. PM me with any queries. If you cannot post pics then e mail me the pic and I will post it on your behalf.
I have noticed that some of the pictures posted are very large. These pictures do not do your entry justice as people will not scroll across the page to view the whole image, it stretches the forum and also it can pixelate and make your picture less clear. Please resize your pictures so that they just fit across the forum. Around 600pixels width is a good size. Also you should ensure your picture is very clear and in focus as a blurry picture will not attract votes. Thanks.

Anyway, this is little Pearl who passed away a few months ago :( she was my first hamster, and she was beautiful <3 this was one christmas :D just chopped my face out lol ;) it was like my fave pic of her and was about a year or 2 ago :D she's sat in a lttle basket which i decorated <3

Rum told me he wanted to compete in Decembers hamster of the month so i setup a Christmas scene and off we went to his photo shoot ;)
This was the best one i took, so i am entering it in the hope that a dwarf (a very special wintry white one) can win for winters hammy of the month :D

This is my little Toffee monster, she is soon to be 9 months old and she is very excited about experiencing her first christmas! She loves cuddles and any attention she recieves so being Hamster of the Month will make her very, very happy! Here she is exploring my brother's hands for the very first time.

This is Snickers; she would like to be hamster of the month for December as she is getting into the christmas mood already by setting up her sleigh! :) She is a rescue ham and it's her first christmas with me so it would be great for her to win. :D

This is Nancy. She was my old dwarf hamster who passed away just before I joined this forum in January. She would like to be hamster of the month because December 25th (Christmas) is the day she passed away, and I know that I'll be thinking of her everyday of December. I miss her lots ):

This was Molly. My first ever girl hamster, and mummy to my first ever litter. She was a wonderful mummy and raised 10 beautiful pups. She passed away earlier this year and I still miss her :(

This is Saffie our new Russian Dwarf. She should win because theres not a cutier hamster in the world :mrgreen: And she has to put up with her sister Luckie running on the noisy wheel all day :rolleyes: She is looking forward to christmas with her stocking and celebrating her first christmas!
