Think about this:

Every year the RSPCA rehomes over 90,000 animals that have been abandoned or badly treated by owners who may not have thought carefully enough before taking their pet on.

This was noted on a piece of paper outside my local rspca shop telling people to think before getting animals!

It makes me so mad that people dont think before getting a pet (whatever it is)!!!!

some people just buy on impulse - like when you go to the shops for one thing and come back with so much more (that you didn't want or need). It is bad and people should only take animals on if they have the time and money to do it and should ask for help when they need it, instead of abandoning etc. At least there are places people can go to for help like the rspca, vets and forums such as these.

I wouldn't have known half the things I've been able to do to help Conker when she was sick without the vet and the forums.....
