I'm so sorry for what you are going thru.. so many questions you ask yourself,our Poppet left us on monday so i know how bad it must feel right now..it sounds like it was a shock the same as when Poppet went...I'm sure Poppet will be there for custard, she likes a cuddle.. take care hun and make a special place for custard..
