Hi Everyone,

Just took these of Horace & a tiny little video. So pleased that I can already handle him. :) Second day & already exploring the playpen. Can't wait till he goes on his wheel in his cage, he doesn't seem to know what to do with it at the moment.:D

Hope, do you think he is a chubster in the making?

Oh Rach he is GORGEOUS!!!! I just sat 'awwing' at the screen for ages!!!

Boris was tiny when I got him (see my avatar!) and look how he has turned out! lol! Definately a chubster in the making he will do Boris and Huxley proud!! His name is perfect too!! Ohhhhh I love him!!! Can I have him please??? lol!!

So Horace still hasn't used his wheel. Any ideas why not? I have just the spare small Savic Rolly in, until I can order him a Silent Spinner. Could it be that he is small & finds it hard to push? Huxley was much bigger than Horace at this age.
Or maybe he is still just settling in, although last night he was very hyper & monkey barring all over his cage. :)

Crikey! A monkey barring dwarfie?! Coz of Boris I assumed they were all quite lazy! He doesnt want to give Boz a few tips does he?! Boz doesnt use his wheel much (although sometimes I do catch him wheeling, as soon as he sees me he gets off, like - 'no I wasnt doing exercise, not me', I think he gets a bit guilty sometimes about his meal worm consumption and wants to work some off!) As long as the wheel spins freely Rach, I would have thought that Horace could work it ok, have you tried sitting him in and then giving it a gentle push? I spent ages doing this with Boris when he was little!!

Yep! Our John's Gizmo is a champion at monkey barring too. Huxley has never done it, but he loves his wheel.

I did put him on the wheel & give it a gentle push, but nothing. :( Still there is plenty of time. Or maybe he will just be like Boris!

Been in the Pet Shop again this morning. Awww! The few that are left were all cuddled up together fast asleep. Wish I could take them all home. :)

Been in again this morning for weekly supplies. LOL! There are only 3 left now, all little Huxley's. That's what I call Agouti's. Aww poor little hammies need a new home. All cuddled up together looking ever so cute.

Aww I would have one if I lived nearer. You can never have too many chubsters! You are really lucky to have such a good pet shop close to you.
