does adhesive mean like glue? sorry i'm not terribly bright
But if it does, non toxic glue sticks used in a hot glue gun are good :)

Lol. Thanks - I was wondering if I could use glue and just make sure it doesn't run out of the joins but I will look for non toxic glue sticks. I'll have a look at craft stores.

I used epoxy, you just have to be sure not to give them there toys for 24 hours because it is toxic until it's completely set and then it's fine :)

Ummm. I havent really used glue for anything to do with my Hamsters before. But im guessing a non-toxic,safe for children glue would be ok?:p;):-Dx

Sorry I am only familiar with german products but the german hamsterscene is build with Ponal
Ponal - Do-it-yourself - Henkel (http://www.henkel.com/cps/rde/xchg/henkel_com/hs.xsl/do-it-yourself-1845.htm?iname=Ponal&countryCode=com&BU=cons_crafts&parentredDotUID=000000022V&redDotUID=0000000238&brand=0000000258&noCrawl=true)

...is it available in the UK? Non toxic and truly fun to work with.

Thanks for the ideas. I haven't seen Ponal here Tammy but I will have a look around on the web. I will make sure whatever I use I let it set completely before I let them near it and wipe any excess off. I think I may go to Hobbycraft and see if I can buy a glue gun and non toxic sticks.

Plywood is made of thin layers of wood glued together, I don't know if the glue used in the manufacturing process is safe for hamsters. Maybe it'd be a better idea not to use it just in case, unless anyone else can let you know if it is safe?

I found a 20 gallon fish tank (garbage day) and was wondering if 'flexible plastic adhesive' is ok to use?? I am wanting to put it in the bottom of the tank where itsbroken a bit with a good layer of cardboard on top so my ham cant chew threw it.
