I don't have any Russian Campbell's currently but I did have several before and I'd like to show some pictures of them. :)
My first little guys were Dusk and Mocha. They ended up needing to be separated after only a month but I learned a lot from them and have been keeping pairs successfully ever since.
Mocha was a sweet hamster right off the bat. Once he learned that I didn't mean him any harm and that my hand came with food he was alright. He loved to explore and play in my hands. He did end up having diabetes and it cut his life short but he was a sweetie through out it all and never let it bother him in the slightest.

Dusk took longer for me to gain his trust but when I did he was a good friend. When I had to separate him and Mocha he got stuck in a 10 gallon tank. At the time most people believed the cage size adequate for two dwarfs it wasn't until almost a year later that I got him a bigger home. Until then he became cage territorial and refused to be handled. Once moved into his 20 gallon long he became the trusting friend I knew and loved.

Both of them before they were separated:
Later I fell head over heals for a black mottled ham. When I got to the pet store I wanted to know the gender but the employee was to afraid to check. She knew they were all the same gender but she didn't know which. So she let me check. The boy I had intended to get ran away from me while on little guy hopped right one and let me check without an issue so I took him home instead. Romeo was a sweetie and was a nest-building monster. He has the softest nests I've ever seen and worked very hard to make them.

When Mocha passed away I convinced my parents to let me get two dwarfs this time. We went over the entire city looking for a pair of dwarfs but nobody had them. Finally at the only pet store left in the city we found some dwarfs. Trixie and Krista was the only pair that they had and they seemed sweet so I brought them home. They lived together until Krista passed away.
Krista was a docile and shy little lady. She was very polite and never nibbled or bit. She would even wake up Trixie when I fed them so that Trixie got a chance at getting lots of food too.

Trixie was a bold and sweet little girl. When Krista passed away she was depressed and stopped eating and grooming herself. So I started to wake her up when I fed her like Krista used to do, I made extra time to play with her and I spent time 'grooming' her with my finger. She came back with a bang and enjoyed sleeping in my hands and just 'hanging' out next to my hand.

When Dusk passed away I had a cage open for awhile and it just needed to be filled up again so I got Daxx. Daxx was sweet right from the start, he never bit and he loved to be held. He was also entertaining and funny. Just as I was suspecting that he had diabetes he passed away, I believe it may have been more severe then any of my other hams:

A while later when my numbers were lower I found two cuties that just stole my heart, Yve and Noël. They lived together their entire lives and even passed away together in their sleep.
Noël was a sweetie and was always begging to be let out and played with.

Yve acted grumpy but he was a mushy sweetheart on the inside. He even groomed my fingers from time to time.
