Default Google Search

Hi babyboos,

is there a reason why you think this would be a good change? Is it something that you think would be good for forum users?

Absolutely otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it

It fits better with the symmetry of the site if it is placed centrally. Everything else here at HC appears to be in the middle of the screen, whereas this search feature looks like an afterthought tacked on the side. If it is possible it would be nicest to have it all on one line with the Web and HC radio buttons on the right of the Search button, but not sure how much is involved in either of these suggestions, and which one is the quickest and easiest for you to do. Also being at top and bottom I for one am more likely to use it.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize that in Internet Explorer that some things were still not aligned properly.

I also took your suggestion and added another search bar at the bottom of the forum pages; thanks for being so helpful

Additionally, I can't change the code for the search bar to change the way it looks; that's special Google stuff that doesn't work properly if you tinker with it. It only works if you leave the code intact, and it's part of the terms of their program that lets you insert those things.
