May 3, 2007:
-did some behind-the-scenes code-cleaning.
-added the "Did you know?" tip feature at the top of pages
April 30, 2007:
-updated the blue and purple themes with a new logo and other cosmetic changes
-implemented a clever code hack to thwart spammers. This change will make things way easier on SnuggleHam, who had to deal with 10+ spam accounts being created every day
-fixed minor image/link problems in the info section
February 28, 2007:
-updated the forum software to its latest version

-fixed the contact form so that it works again. It had the settings from the old host.
February 10, 2007:
-changed the formatting of the article listings so that they look super cool and have neat little icons
February 7, 2007:
-added a "go to page" thing to the profiles. It lets you go directly to a particular page while also seeing the total number of pages of profiles.
-added an administrator-only feature to clean up profiles for non-existing users, thus eliminating the "duplicate profile" bug... er, feature.
February 5, 2007:
-improved some site graphics and the logo for the green theme
-added the ability to put a special image on profiles of those users who have donated to Hamster Central
-fixed some links that were going to the wrong places. Oops!
February 1, 2007:
-moved the site to the new web host. Whew!
January 12, 2007:
-added a contact form
-changed the appearance of fieldsets and their legends (the box thingies that surround stuff!)
-added information about donating to HC
-made some things left-aligned
-fixed the non-centered logo on forum pages in Internet Explorer
-updated the index page with links to things like the contact form, HC calendar download, and donation information
January 7, 2007:
-fixed some bugs in the hamstery feature
-removed the side advertisement from the main page
-widened the appearance of the site
-divided the profiles page for easier viewing
-updated the articleswith categorized browsing and text previews
September 7, 2006:
-added the brand new Themes feature and three brand new color schemes!
-fixed a few minor display errors associated with the update
August 9, 2006:
-fixed the profiles so that PHP and HTML tags are removed
-added a search option on the forum that I had for some strange reason removed
-updated a function so that the index page's "latest posts" area only shows a topic one time (don't ask; it's too complicated for my brain)
July 21, 2006:
-fixed some Internet Exploder
related display problems, such as the search bar and forum contents being left-aligned as well as some things on the index page overlapping each other.
July 16, 2006:
-the user selected as the featured profile of the week will get an icon and some text on their profile indicating that they were chosen. Congratulations to
matinee_92 for the selection and on having a nicely completed profile!
July 14, 2006:
-fixed the index page so that it accurately shows the last profile created
-fixed the profiles page so the avatars/links/user names show in a nice little table with rows, and so that only users who have entered information into their profile show up on the page
July 12, 2006:
-fixed the copyright/terms links in the forum footer
-fixed an bug which caused an error to be displayed in IE
-fixed a problem which prevented the approval of classified ads
-added the user's location after classified titles
-added a link to the hamstery information beneath the hamstery list
-added counter to front page
July 11, 2006: fixed a bug which allowed unapproved articles to appear in the "random featured article" area on the index page.
July 10, 2006: the beginning of the new Hamster Central; the entire site was updated with a brand new design and all new features.
