Front Page Error
This is what I see when I try to access the front page of the forum.

Yep. I get this repeated multiple times in white on a black background:
Warning: require_once() [function.require-once]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CST/-6.0/no DST' instead in /home/hamster/public_html/community/includes/init.php on line 55

See, and when I hit "post" on that one I was taken to a page that said I would now be taken to the poll and then back here where my comment is missing!

Seems to have been fixed. Hopefully anyway!
Okay, maybe not. I just tried to post the above sentence and I got the "you must wait 30 seconds between posts" warning, except that this is my first post since opening the page. I've been elsewhere for the last 10 minutes!

It's not a problem with your computer anyway Jessie so don't worry, there's something going on with the forum itself. Maybe it's maintenance!

My boyfriend owns a forum and figured out how to fix it. Go to the top of the page in the Navigation Bar and click Quick Links then Edit Options. On the new page go to the second last section called Date & Time Options, and select your time zone. Mine was set as -8:00 instead of -5:00, once I changed it I stopped getting the error message.
