May 6 - more updates

Heya! Your friendly neighborhood Smoo here.

We did a bunch of stuff for the site today. Oh, jeez, let's see...

I made a number of little fixes, such as adding the link for registration on all the forum pages if not logged in already. I think that could have made it harder for people to register, since it wasn't there. We cleaned out some old links to sites that were no good. I also added proper page titles for all pages so that HC might be found a bit better by search engines. There were a number of behind-the-scenes fixes and changes as well.

We added a post rank thingie on individual profiles and improved the appearance of the articles page. We'd definitely like to make it as friendly and accessible as possible since it's such a comprehensive and excellent source for hamster information.

So, as usual, please let me know if I broke sumthin' or if anything looks funny. Thanks!

Hey smoo - looking great at HC :-)
I have only had a very quick look and have a bit of a jumbled view under hamster info/articles. There are icons and also the list of links. Not found anything else yet but will keep looking and will let you know.

The did you know feature is very good, quick hits of information which is very helpful.

Yes we noticed the jumbled page on info & articles but otherwise its looking exciting.

The articles are nice and easy to find and am I right in thinking that there are new flicks on the individual article links?
I discovered the lavender background today - having had the blue backgound for winter - very relaxing :-)

All the updates are great! I love the post rank thinngs on the profiles, and the new articles layout is great! Have noticed though, that some of the icons for the individual articles aren't showing (I mean the ones that are next to the title, the pics from the article), but I expect that you are on that already!!!
