transition to new host completed SMOOthly

Hi everyone!

As you may have noticed, HC was down for a little while yesterday (or was it the day before?). Anyways, I was getting the site moved over to the new host. Everything completed successfully and seems to be working normally... so far!

I'll be posting again in within a week or so with some updates to the site.

I did panic the other night when I couldn't get on! I thought, typical, the moment I find such a fab forum, it breaks

I'm glad it was all planned and the switchover went well - and thanks for all of your hard work in making such a cool forum

Weird - on my profile my hammies appear to have the wrong names. I must have named the wrong (sorry girls) but I can't change them round. Can you help.

Im not sure if that was something that had to do with the switch over or what?

All my picture captions are still in order on my profile. To change them you will have to go to your " My hamster central" and click the delete button that is above the image. Then re upload it with the proper caption

If anyone else experiences any problems with the site please post them here.

Yay! Thanks Smoo! But one thing I have noticed is that Matinee_92 and Lilaham's avatars seem to have swapped around. Please could you change them back as it gets a bit confusing sometimes!

Thanks PH I fixed that problem.. there are a few profile glitches that still need to be fixed. I'm just waiting in Smoo to get around to it between work and his other hobbies. perhaps I can persuade him to fix the few things today lol
