Default Times Posts Are Recorded?

Hi Smoo. Can I ask please, are the times when people make posts set at GMT (Greenwich Meantime) or are the times listed on the U.S timezone?

I'm used to seeing GMT I suppose! I just get a bit confused when I see someone has replied to a new post and the time they posted seems to be different from the time zone here in Britain. Would it be useful to have two timezones, or would this be too complicated? It does'nt really matter to be honest, but it was just something I thought to mention.

So I posted this message at 8:40pm British Summer Time, but when you look at the official time posted, it states a different time?

I believe you can change what timezone you are on if you go to My Hamster Central then Change My Account Settings. There you can select to be on GMT or GMT+1,GMT+2,GMT-1, GMT-2 etc.

Ah! I did'nt know that! (Slaps forehead with hand! ) I'll go have a look.

Edited To Add: Well I created a profile (not that I have any photographs or much information to add to it!) and went to change my GMT times, but I can't really understand what to set it at as it's asking for different numbered times. I know what time it is here, but what time am I setting it from? Confused.....!

I'm not sure how to set it to the time it is now here in Britain? I'm trying to work out how many hours forward or backwards I should be setting it in order for it to be at our time? I'll have to go headhunting at NASA!
