My dwarf has a lump on her chest too. The vet wasn't sure whether it's cancerous or not but fortunately it hasn't grown at all since it appeared in May. She's 18 months old now and has a couple of other minor health issues but in general is doing really well. I hope your hamster will stay well for some time yet too.

I haven't changed her diet. I don't know of any specific dietary changes that might help with a tumour or cancer, apart from generally making sure the diet is healthy and balanced.
