They don't have fluffy bedding or any rope or fabric in the cage do they as this can twist round toes and feet and cut off the circulation. Certain bacteria can also infect the feet especially if there is any rusty bars or platforms with bars in the cage. You really need to have them seen by a vet and 2 weeks is too long to not check a hamster as it gives things time to take hold without you noticing.
I hope you can have this looked at very soon.
