Hamster Central - View Single Post - Moving a new hamster into new cage + Hamster Heaven tubes

Hi everyone,

On Sunday we got our new hamster Leslie. He's still in his settling in period so we've just gently interacted, but he's a very curious fellow who loves his flying saucer. We got him a hamster Heaven cage as our old one is too small. I just wondered when should we move him in? Should we wait a little longer for him to settle or move him soonish?

I also attached a picture of our cage, as our tubes were missing a few parts so we have tried to work around that while we wait for a replacement - does this seem like an ok layout for now?
