This doesn't involve any further cost - we give our dwarf a stash of differing lengths of cardboard tubes in her playpen and she is fascinated for ages. It's a chance to give her long tubes that we wouldn't put in her cage because of the size, and also more space just to run around and explore the world from a different angle.
