If she is old and not very well/not drinking independently, it may be that she is reaching her time and end of life. If she is not old then I hope the vet solves the issue. Old is anything from 18 months onwards. At two they are the equivalent of an 80 year old human.
She was a rescue hamster and the previous owners told us she was a year old when we got her in July. So she would be around 18months if they were correct. And I am giving her from syringe and will let her drink as much as she wants. She is on medication so hopefully the water helps her expell kidneys. We are thinking she is close to the end but then everytime we do, she rebounds and has some really good days! So here is to hoping she makes recovery. Thanks for help, we just forgot to ask Vet last week how much water she should be consuming.
