Polo has had an eventful couple of months
Waking with a sticky eye she had to have a course of biotic eye drops - is all better now.
Now we are going through a second lot of antibiotics and metacam for a possible UTI, she also has a tiny lump.
She doesn’t like the taste of either and I’m envious of all those photos of hamsters holding the syringe and chopping their medicine lol
Polo wrestles like a sumo wrestler and ends up wearing most of it!
Discovered she will eat the biotic in porridge so I’m cooking hamster portions every day lol
I’ve chosen to avoid dairy and animal protein as these can feed tumours and make them grow - just in case this little lump is dodgy.
Vet says she appears well, very active and chubby 220g - I don’t think she’s chubby
And just to encourage everyone to have a vet fund this last visit was £85 and the one before £55. Just because the animal is smaller the vet doesn’t charge less!
