His change in behaviour could possibly be related to a few different things.
They often become a bit less active once they’ve settled in & the novelty of everything has worn off.
Temperature, I don’t know where you are but here in the UK the nights have got very cold, is the room he is in kept around 18-20c day & night?
Have you been doing much in the way of cleaning? Doing complete cleans, cleaning the nest or hoard area can really upset them & stress them.
Has he had any changes in diet, main mix, treats, fresh food etc that could cause a change in his poo?
If you’re concerned about his teeth then I would get him out & try to get a look at them, is he eating ok? They can be a bit noisy when chewing on things sometimes but it’s hard to know what you’re hearing>
