My Syrian hamster named Neji is about 11 weeks old and has recently started acting very different from when we first got him. He use to be very energetic, going on his hamster wheel and saucer all night, eating and running around in his bin. Recently he has been sleeping all day and night, borrowing himself (which he never did) and hiding for what seems like 24hour periods, coming out only to eat and drink. He seems to be always hiding and sleeping. I noticed that his poops have become light brown compared to how it use to be which was dark brown. There is no signs of wet tail. He just seems very down and lazed out and I am worried that something is wrong with him. He isn't as energetic and excited to play in his house. He has plenty of space (way more then the recommended size), lots of bedding and different tunnels and toys to entertain him. I was thinking that maybe it could be his teeth? As I've heard them to be a lot bigger and making more sounds when he eats.
