Pickle loves the cage. He especially loves the wheel
I had to poke about under the substrate a bit to wake him up about 9.30pm and he then had a good explore. Sat in the ceramic hide (the animal one) and had a wash. He only just fit in it and was very squished. So I swapped it for the salt pig and he then sat in that and had a wash - much better size. Checked everything out, sniffed and checked at the bars. Then found the wheel. Ran in it a bit - looked happy. Sat and pee'd in it (assume that is to claim it). Sat and thought for a bit. Then ran loads in it and quite fast, diving out now and then into the cork log where he sat and chilled and had another wash. He was in and out of the log and the wheel so I left him to it for a while.
Sang happy birthday to him while he was in there (thank you Fairycake for reminding me!). Popped him back in his old cage now. He looked a bit disappointed. I'll try and get things finished and moved over tomorrow for him.
Pickle is 1 year old today, along with the other Ketzinicos.
