Hi All,

I feel really bad

basically I took three pine cones and put them in Nutmeg (syrian 4ish month old male)'s cage (Alaska), and one week later his bedding was infested with tiny red / brown bugs, hundreds and hundreds, they were tiny.

So I cleaned out all the bedding and cleaned all the plastic toys and only put the plastic ones back, and thoroughly cleaned the actual cage.

I guess he'll be quite stressed as all his bedding had a 100% change. I'd also noticed his scent glands each had a tiny scab on it, wondering if that was related.

Has anyone had this before? Any advise for specifically I should do if anything? Thinking of just not handling him for a few days to reduce stress.
