I'm new to posting in this forum, but have been a lurker for the past 2 years since my first hamster.
Ive learned a lot from this forums, particularly on the nutritions thread.
I came across exo-terras after having tried several acrylic cases from China. Although those acrylic ones are big, but they're more tiered as opposed to having a large space.
Then I came across exo-terra and immediately jumped at it. I got the Large/Low version
here and have not regretted spending a little under USD150.
I opted for the low version because I love how wide it gets. It measures at 36x18x12 inches, and that is plenty of room for my lovely robos. I didn't opt for the tall versions because I don't like building multiple levels so high above ground, afraid it might do the hamsters more harm than good. But that's just my personal preference.
I love everything about exo-terras that was pointed out in the first post. Basically straight out from box case, little to no custom work required.
Absolutely highly recommended.
