Starting a lambing thread for entertainment
Our first lambs were born today - three sets of twins. I don't have a photo yet. Most people have finished lambing - ours are always late due to being high up and northerly, plus the breed lives outdoors (Swaledales). Fingers crossed for good weather - two years ago the weather was very bad and we had a lot of sick lambs warming up in the house. Lambing lasts about two weeks. We're self isolating on the farm but OH still has to look after the sheep. Main issue has been having to disinfect gates in case anyone else has touched them.
