I found my Chinese Hams were a bit stinkier in the pee department and I know my hybrid's cages have smelt different to my Syrians, not worse juts different. But this could be because they pee in different places. But the one thing I have noticed with all my hams, is that in that first week of so there tends to be a stronger smell where I assume they are settling in, marking more and peeing in more places til they find their little hammy groove. So as it's only been a few days since you got Sock, it may just be a case of settling in.
