Default Re: Hamster dragging hand into cage

Welcome to Hamster Central!

like ria said, hamsters do not like changes, frequent movings of their cages from one house to another is not doing him any justice. He doesnt have enough time to get comfortable with his move. How big is his cage? in the usa, your cage needs a minimum of 450 square inches of unbroken floorspace which is about 12inx40in and thats for a dwarf. For a syrian you need atleast 620 square inches which is about 9inx70in. Thats the BARE minimum and you should always strive for bigger.

It really would be best for Oreo to stay at one house, so he wouldnt be in constant stress.
Always there for you just like you are for me. August 4th 2018.
