After squinting a bit at it, I decided to add a precaution sheet of wood where
Mocha could potentially chew the mesh (it is the only part of the enclosure where he could possibly reach standing on his hind legs). Rather than wait for it to happen, I sorted it now. On top of it discouraging him from the bars, it also gives him some privacy to eat on top of his wooden house and sneak out slightly more stealthy.
It is attached with zip ties, which I placed in corners where he can't reach them.
And the evening time lid looks really tidy and lets me spend some time with him without talking through bars.
