Hamster baby colors?
hi, im new to breeding hamsters in specific but I do have experience in breeding other animals (gerbils, many types of fish, guinea pigs) so before anyone freaks out, I have done research and ive taken everything into consideration before I made the decision to try to breed.
I have a female Syrian hamster that's somewhat longhaired and my bf has a male blondish golden shorthaired Syrian hamster (pictures attached) and I was wondering what traits I could expect from the babies? I do not know the genetics of the parents so recessive traits are unknown.
Current setup:
she currently lives in two connected bin cages with a ton of habitrail extensions (picture attached) which can be removed for safety of the baby hamsters. I have extra cages on the side as well just incase I can't find homes for them in time.
