What's the difference between a teddy bear hamster and a normal Syrian? The foods are different % on rodipet so I'm curious

A teddy hamster is just a long-haired Syrian. I contacted Rodipet a while ago to ask why there were "teddy" mixes with higher protein and fibre. They said that long-haired hamsters swallow hair when grooming and so need more fibre to pass it. They didn't say anything about the protein. That's not something I'd read anywhere else, so I'm not sure how true it is.
