I know your hamster is only young and I am not a vet, but I have had two older hamsters on antibiotics permanently for the rest of their lives. Yes, it can have an affect on them, but sometimes I think there is the need to weigh up illness versus feeling a bit better i.e. quality of life and maybe not quantity. I am not saying this is what you should do but maybe something you could ask your vet about. Like Serendipity says is she still on metacam for the pain? Again that can affect the organs, but I would be weighing up quantity versus quality of life.
