Most injuries that cause them to squint like that are from irritation via a scratch or something in their eye - these hamsters are not blind.

Blind hamsters, unless they have no eyes, will look just like any other hamster. Some might have cataracts or smaller than usual eyes but their eyes open normally and do not show signs of irritation.
