I did remove the tube today. I had to clean it anyway so figured I'd trial and see how she does. She isn't loving it, but she's made camp in a little house there is in there underneath a shelf, so should give her enough sense of safety without the tube. I also got her another toy/bar she can nibble on so hopefully that'll replace the tube for something else to do? Just hope she settles! :S
