Thank you for reviving this thread. I was already going to hassle my dad to get the radiator out of the shed for my room but the question is where to position the radiator. Does 4 feet from the cage sound reasonable and safe? I know that we should keep enclosures away from drafts and radiators but they never detail what distance is ok.
(I think this room is cold. Goodness, I think this whole bungalow is cold when the heating is off! As a result I want the radiator close enough to be effective but not so close that it is uncomfortable.)
