Default Re: best cage for a pair of hybrids

Some of those cages are quite expensive. I think you would be fine with a standard dubs multy as an upgrade. Not too expensive either. Or if you were up for making a bin cage then the rub bin but I think the top access is easier with the standard duna multy. The Marrakesh is lovely and a bit bigger but very expensive.

I went round the houses for ages looking for the ideal cafe for a Syrian and looked at all kinds of expensive options and in the end went for the reasonably priced Barney cage and it’s fine. I think they would adjust better to a Perspex tank style like they are in now rather than a barred cage but a good size compromise between the duna multy and the Marrakesh is the 80 x 50 hamster heaven with all the plastic stuff removed. It also has great access at the front and isn’t too tall like the Alaska.
