Default Re: My Robo doesn't eat fresh food

Robos are tiny and eat very small amounts. Fruit they don't really need because of the sugar content. My Robo likes cucumber, nibbles on a bit of yellow/green/red pepper but doesn't really like anything else fresh.

What kind of treats do you give him? Mealworms, linseeds, pumpkin seeds etc are things my Robo enjoys and millet sprays to nibble on plus a whimzee dog chew of course.

He may hoard way underground like mine does or in a hidden spot. I only discovered yesterday that mine has a hoard inside a wooden log.

I have two dwarves and neither of them has a big hoard like my Syrian whose nest is surrounded with food.

As long as your Robo is healthy and active i wouldn't worry. Like humans hamsters come in different sizes with their own likes and dislikes.

You could post a photo so people here can have a look.
