A lot of people feed Syrians Harry Hamster including me because it is a good food readily available in the Uk and has no added sugars.

I think hamster food is not unlike human foods where opinions also differ and some people eat organic food only avoiding all sugars, additives etc whereas others like myself aim to eat healthy food with restricted sugar intake but don't necessarily analyze food and don't worry whether its organic or not....especially not when hungry.

Interesting thing is that on a German forum the Rodipet food is not considered to be the best one and other brands are favoured.

I feed Rodipet food to my dwarves because its far smaller in texture and i could not find food for a diabetic hamster in the UK.
