I learnt very quickly after I had to throw a load of wooden toys out with my first diabetics.

I know that some people aren't too keen on using plastic but easily washable is the most imprtant thing with diabetics.

My diabetics cages have usually had a mix of cardboard, plastic and ceramic items.
