Hello all, I have recently acquired two Hamster Heaven cages for the grand total of £40.00 and in turn wish to connect them together without the use of tubes.
I have had a bad experience with tubes and Syrian hamsters in the past and do not wish to make the same mistake again.
I have recently spoken to someone who has attached two Alaska cages together length-ways by removing one side panel from each cage which then is re-attached by sturdy garden meshed wire and cable ties. The result is fantastic and has given her Syrian an incredibly long habitat. But is there anyone here who has also done something similar? I have my dremmel, I am going out to buy the mesh that is suitable and I am patient, but ya know when you hesitate out of fear of destroying something? Well that's currently where I'm sat
