Luckily I have the space and resources.
They have been separated and hes in a temporary cage until his Alaska one arrives.
Oh i know! It's so frustrating having to sieve through all the information available. Someone gave me a hamster book the other day which went straight in the recycling box because it wasn't even fit for a charity shop. Hamsters in tiny cages with tiny wheels and an inch of substrate etc etc. Written by a so called expert.
I have also been encouraged to adopt a pair of dwarves by a rescue place but knew from this forum that its a no go.
The list goes on.
Glad you've separated them and let us know how they get on.
My Syrian lives in the Alaska. Its a great cage with big doors.
