Thank you all so much for your kind words. It means the world to me! We had a little ceremony for Teddy and said Kaddish for him (we are Jewish, and Kaddish is our payer for mourning). We buried him in a flower pot so he can always be with us. I put some decorative rocks on top instead of a plant or flower, because I have a tendency to kill plants. I kind of like the way it looks and I feel like it's keeping Teddy cozy and safe. Thank you again, all. When we are ready, we are going to adopt a new hamster from the Humane Society.
