Hi all,

I have a 12 week old Syrian female. I bought her from a pet shop 3 weeks ago yesterday.

Since she’s been home, she has been a very frightened little girl and the taming process has been slow. I cleaned her cage out on Tuesday! Since then she has built a rather large nest and appears to only be coming out of the nest for food and water. She’s no longer using her wheel or playing with her toys as she had done previously.

Could she have had babies? I can’t see into the nest with out taking the lid off and I’m reluctant to that just in case. How long should I leave her?! When I have seen her she appears well, eating normally and normal poos.
