Hamster age(s): ~6 months
Reason they were abandoned /require rehoming? I, very sadly, am unable to give this lovely girl the home she needs due to ill health and hospital stays.
Any health problems/special needs? None, to the best of my knowledge.
Any behavioural problems? Very nervous. Does not like being handled too much. She will bite or hide from people she is unsure of. It took a couple of months for her to feel comfortable with me, is happy to be stroked and hand-fed by me and does not hide now, however, does still not like being picked up.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: Ideally an experienced owner. Quiet household without children.
