hey!! i have my hamster in the detolf, and he always burrows down to the bottom part of the bars and chews on them, and it’s always in the same spot. he doesn’t usually burrow so i put the most amount of bedding above that section, but he burrows down there anyway to chew. he won’t burrow anywhere else.

not only is it loud and wakes me up, it can’t be good for his teeth. i have plenty of chew toys and things to do in his cage. i try to switch things around regularly to make sure he isn’t bored. i sprinkle feed, i use herbs, i’m not sure what else i can do. he hasn’t always done this, it’s only been in the recent couple of months so i’m not sure why he’s doing it. help would be great!!
