Re: How to cope with loss of a much loved hamster
I’m so sorry. Just last Memorial Day, after celebrating my early birthday at an amusement park, I came home to see my Destiny in her favorite hiding spot. I cried so hard when I realized she wasn’t breathing. Destiny was a Russian dwarf, too. She died suddenly, at the young age of six months. It still hurts, but I’ve found ways to move on. And as I move on, she'll be with me. Not running up my arm or biting my finger, in memories. I think Bobbi was an amazing hamster and I wish I could have met her! Don’t worry. It will stop hurting. I promise. Just think about something else. At first it will be hard. But gradually, the frown on your face will turn into a smile.
