Hello Folks,
Haven't posted for a while on HC, just thought I would bring you all upto date with the Adventures of Poppy.

Poppy seems to be the devil in hamster form, when Ghost used to throw a strop when cage cleaning was happening, Poppy throws a full blown tantrum and nearly wrecks her cage..!

The same goes when I put her back from a free roaming session, she will attack the door to get back out and in doing so fling her ramps etc out of the way, she will climb the bars and start chewing on them, and when I admonish her she will monkey bar away from me...!

Her favourite things to do on free roaming sessions are,
1, Try to dig up the carpet at the door to the dining room, so I have to put shoes down there to deter her.

2, Climb up my photography back pack and get onto the curtains and try to climb up those, the first time I saw her doing this the curtains where moving and I looked down to see Poppy's back end swinging in mid air with her scrabbling to get her back legs up onto the curtains.

3, Get under the TV/Video unit in the lounge and hide behind one of the drawers for a wash and brush up, then scrabble around inside the unit visiting each drawer in turn until I take them out and retrieve her.

4, Zoom about the room's edges like a demon speedster, I will try to post some links to my You tube channel with some of these short films, I am surprised at her turn of speed Usain Bolt look out this girl will out run you.

She had her first out door experience this evening where she had a short prowl about the lawn, she wasn't freaked about it, she just wrecked her cage after being put back in it.

I have never known such a single minded cheeky, adorable little thing, I thought Forrest Ham#1 was cheeky but Poppy really does go way out the other side of cheekiness.

She is also a One Hamster suicide squad with some of her antics she has no fear and will launch her self from heights etc ie the coffee table, the sofa she climbed up the back of an ikea unit by bracing her back against the wall and climbing like a human does on a mountain when ascending a pipe of crevasse, then she slipped back and squeaked all the way back down to the floor she gave me a determined look and started at it again. She doesn't know when to stop or back down talk about single minded.
