I currently feed my male syrian a mix of oxbow essentials pellets (as that's what the pet store fed him) and vitakraft vitasmart. i give him some fruits (strawberries and apples are his favorite) every once in a while and want to aim to feed him more veggies as well.

i've heard that the oxbow pellets aren't that good? i know i shouldn't just feed him seed mix but am unsure of what else to mix it with? also what kind of treats would be best?
