Thanks for your replies very helpful. I'm cleaning them too much I think. I do them every week not always everything. They have so much stuff I can't fill them up too much or I won't fit all their toys and wheels in. This is a relief...thank you. I'll try and send a picture of their set up...it's a bit crazy!
